My favorite way to spend a Friday night is unwinding with a good movie at home with my husband, OR during football season watching my daughter cheer at the high school Friday night games.
Favorite way to stay fit
Consistency, accountability and knowing that even 15 minutes of exercise in my busy schedule is still exercise. I don't over work myself especially being an instructor. I make sure and take appropriate rest days each week for 1-2 days of just "fun" activity instead of a gym workout. I love to dance so anytime I am dancing I know I am staying fit!
What I like most about group fitness
Group fitness gives people the ability to be pushed by the magic that happens when you are around other people that are taking the class. It's teamwork and it's the desire to not quit during a class that I really love the most.

Advice to GroupFit newbies
Come try all of the different classes to find what you love the most! Exercise needs to be fun or you won't stick with it. What I see the most, as an instructor, is someone giving up too soon when they may have enjoyed the class after coming several times. Take a few classes - then decide.
